Privacy Policy

PayCoach is a work tool for coaches and sports academies. It is used to keep track of student attendance and to prepare the monthly bill for their families. This page explains, in plain words, what we store, what for, and how to ask us to delete it.

Who is responsible for the data

PayCoach is operated from Guatemala. For anything related to privacy, write to info@paycoach.app.

What we store

The coach using the app enters and stores:

• About their account: username, password (stored encrypted — nobody can read it), academy name, and, if they enter them, their bank and account number for receiving transfers.
• About each student: the child's name, the name of the person who pays, their WhatsApp number, and a special rate if one applies.
• About classes: which student attended on which date.

We do not ask for or store location, phone contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or card details. The app has no advertising and no third-party trackers, and it uses no analytics tools.

Children's data

The app is used by the coach, who is an adult; it is not aimed at children and children do not use it. It does store the names of students — who are usually minors — because attendance cannot work without them. The coach is responsible for that information and must have the parents' permission to record it, the same as with any attendance sheet.

What we use the data for

Only to make the app work: counting each student's classes, working out each family's total, and putting together the payment message. We do not sell or share the data with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or to train models.

WhatsApp

When the coach taps “Bill on WhatsApp”, the app opens WhatsApp with the message already written, but it does not send it on its own: the coach decides whether to send it. PayCoach does not connect to WhatsApp and does not hand it your data. Whatever happens inside WhatsApp is governed by that app's own privacy policy.

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare's infrastructure, which hosts the service and the database. The connection between the app and the server is always encrypted (HTTPS). On the phone, the app keeps a copy of your students and attendance so you can keep working without a signal; that copy is deleted when you sign out or uninstall the app.

How long

For as long as the account is active. The coach can delete a student from the app, which also removes that student's attendance history.

How to delete your account

You can delete it yourself, without asking anyone: Settings → Delete my account, both in the iPhone app and on paycoach.app. You confirm by typing your academy's name and the deletion is immediate: your account, your students, the entire attendance history, and the copy stored on the phone all disappear. It cannot be undone and we keep no backups of deleted accounts.

Your rights

You can ask at any time what data of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@paycoach.app and we will reply.

If this policy changes, this page is updated with a new date at the top.
